Jenkins, who played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and played both quarterback and wide receiver during the practice week and in the game, accounted for 35 touchdowns (20 passing/15 rushing) in winning 13 of 19 career starts while playing in 21 career games in two seasons with the Hornets. Prior to his tenure at UMES, Metil served as the head coach at Coppin State for two years. Before starting his collegiate coaching career, Metil served as a high school coach and junior Olympic club team coach in the Baltimore Metro area while teaching at Dumbarton Middle School.
